Hannover is characterized by its charming contrast beeing a modern metropole embedded in an idyllic town. - Line U4/U5 from Kröpcke (5 min on foot from Hannover Trainstation) direction Garbsen/Stöcken/Herrenhausen
- Get off at the stop „Herrenhäuser Gärten“

- Exit „Herrenhausen“ onto B6 direction Hannover centre
Germany’s national currency is the Euro (€). Most hotels, and many large shops and other businesses accept payment by credit card but some smaller businesses as well as taxis only accept cash. Keep small bills and change handy for taxi rides.
You may obtain Euro in your home country, but could also obtain the local currency from cash machines (ATMs), e.g. at Hannover airport or mainstation.
Start of October could be indian summer, enjoyable in Herrenhausen Garden. Nonetheless it could be rather cool with temperatures of 7 °C (44 °F) to 18 °C (65 °C). Please assure to bring a warm and perhaps rainproofed jacket!
